USED Fender 2009 American Deluxe FMT Stratocaster w/OHSC - CONSIGNMENT
6 String Solidbody Electric guitar featuring a rear routed Alder Strat body with a Flamed Maple Top, fitted with a bolt on Maple neck with a 22 fret Ebony fingerboard, 2 Single coil pickups, 1 humbucking pickup, Master Volume and Tone controls and S-1 Switch in Excellent condition with Original Hardshell Case.
These were available for a few years, back in the day, and the first thing you notice is the lack of pickguard / rear routed body and the wonderful figured maple top... it's a gorgeous looking guitar.
Then there's the HSS pickup arrangement and 2 knob controls (instead of the standard 3 knob layout). Oh yeah, and the Ebony fretboard.
There are a few things that set this apart from a Regular American Stratocaster...
The Stratocaster Body is made from Alder and features a Flamed Maple Top, with a Burst poly finish. Hardware consists of a modern 2 point Tremolo bridge, with stainless steel saddles, chrome top mount jack, Fender Locking machine heads and these really cool Black Anodized Mini Barrel knobs (!) One even has an S-1 switch in it. Very Cool.
The neck is maple with a 22 fret (medium Jumbo) Ebony fingerboard and there's a contoured heel neck joint for easier, more comfortable access to the upper frets. The neck is finished in a Satin poly finish and features a Modern "C" profile with a 9.5" radius, 25.5" scale length and an LSR Roller Nut.
It's a great neck, plays and feels great.
This American Deluxe features an HSS pickup arrangement with a Fender Enforcer Bridge Humbucker and 2 Hot Samariam Cobalt Noiseless Single Coil pickups.
It's a clean, simple control layout - 5 way blade switch and Master Volume and Tone controls but there's more going on under the hood!
With the S-1 Switch in "normal" position, the 5 way blade switch operates as a regulat HSS Stratocaster but with the S-1 switch in the down position, there's many other tones available to you...
Position 1 is the Full bridge Humbucker
Position 2 is the Bridge Humbucker in Parallel with the Neck pickup.
Position 3 is the Bridge Humbucker in Parallel with the Neck and Middle pickups that are in Series
Position 4 is the inside coil of the Humbucker in Series with the Neck pickup and Paired in Parallel with the middle pickup
Position 5 is the Middle Pickup in Series with the Neck pickup.
Lot's of tones going on with this Beautiful Strat.
This Consignment guitar is in Excellent condition with very little play wear and comes wth Original Hardshell Case.
There's a very small impression along the back edge of the headstock - seen in picture and a couple of small play wear marks. The back trem cavity plate has some very light play wear on it.
